50th PAEDA Biennial Convention : "Helping Philippine Agriculture Build the Momentum and Gain the Edge in an Integrated ASEAN Economy"
The Philippine Agricultural Economics and Development Association Incorporated (PAEDA) hold the 50th PAEDA Biennial Convention last October 22-23, 2015 at Bicol University, Legazpi City, Albay with the theme: Helping Philippine Agriculture Build the Momentum and Gain the Edge in an Integrated ASEAN Economy." The establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) will transform the region into a single market and production base. The convention therefore intends to bring together economic and management scholars and students, policy makers and other stakeholders to discuss the implication of AEC on Philippine Agriculture and rural sector as well as the strategies the could ensure that these sectors will gain the momentum and the edge in a highly competitive ASEAN region.
