National Multi-Stakeholder's Consultation Workshop on the Review and Updating of the Research, Development and Extension Agenda and Programs (RDEAP) for Agriculture and Fisheries
Last 15-19 of February at the Luxent Hotel, Quezon Ctiy. The DA-Bureau of Agricultural Research (DA-BAR), in partnership with Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) and Worldfish conduct the National Multi-Stakeholder's Consultation Workshop on the Review and Updating of the Research, Development and Extension Agenda and Programs (RDEAP) for Agriculture and Fisheries. The Event aims to review the implementation of RDEAP 2011-2016 to update information which will serve as inputs to the formulation of the RDEAP 2016-2022.

"The time has come for Philippine agriculture to shift gears. We need to have now an inclusive Philippine agri-industrial strategy. The link between agriculture and manufacturing has to be strong of which value added products have to meet both national and global markets."
